Helgstrand Small Tour1* (pony)

Helgstrand Small Tour1 (pony) is for riders and ponies who master the basic elements of the Micro and Mini Tour tests and are ready for further development.

What do we look at in the test? To get well through the test, you need to have good self-control so that you can control and help your pony through the exercises. Your pony must have a higher degree of self-carriage and be supple in order to work correct from behind, through the back. This is especially shown by the pony showing more self-carriage and quality in medium trot and canter.

You must focus on your pony walking in the correct position, being supple on the bit and having the nose in front of the vertical line. We must also be able to see if your pony is correctly bent or straight when it is stated in the exercises.

We expect you and your pony to show us: • Steps back after halt • Medium sitting trot • Leg yields in trot • Transition to canter from walk • Counter canter • Circle back in canter • Circle in canter with interruption of the support on the bit

Enjoy!
