Helgstrand Mini Tour3* (pony)

The purpose of Helgstrand Mini Tour3 (pony) is to make inexperienced riders and ponies more familiar with the most basic principles of dressage. The test should give both you and your pony a solid base to build on before you move on to the more challenging exercises.

What do we look at in the test? To get well through the test, you need to have good self-control so that you can control and help your pony through the exercises. Your pony must be in good balance and show suppleness throughout the test. You must focus on your pony working correct from behind through it’s back with the correct position of the neck and the pony needs to be able to work and be supple in this position throughout the test.

We expect you and your pony to show us: • Halt • Two leg yields after each other • Trot with increased step length • Circles in trot and canter • Canter with increased strides

Enjoy!
